What sets us apart

Strong expertise

Qualified paramedics (Swiss higher vocational diploma, HF) and our emergency physician team care for you at the scene and on the way.

Quickly on the scene

During the day, five ambulances and one emergency physician vehicle are on standby, at night three ambulances and one emergency physician vehicle.

Across cantonal borders

The 144 emergency call centre sends the nearest available team, whether in Basel-Landschaft or Solothurn.

We train people

We train paramedics (HF) and regularly practise emergencies as a team.

Working together

Emergency care only works as a network. We work closely with the 144 emergency call centre for Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft, Sanität Basel (the Basel ambulance service), the ambulance service of the Kantonsspital Baselland (the Basel-Landschaft cantonal hospital) and the hospitals in the region.

On call-outs, we work side by side with the fire service, police and civil protection. The cantons of Basel-Landschaft and Solothurn guide and support our work.
