Accessibility statement

Compliance status

The website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The WCAG are the international standard for accessible websites; the Swiss standard eCH-0059 and the European standard EN 301 549 are also based on them.

Partially compliant means that in our most recent review we found no further violations on our own pages. Some third-party content and one document do not meet the requirements, or cannot be shown to meet them; they are listed below. A test with screen readers is still outstanding.

What we have implemented

• The whole website can be used with a keyboard, and the focus is always visible. The “Skip to content” link takes you straight to the content.
• Text, form fields and controls have sufficient contrast.
• Pages can be zoomed up to 400 percent without losing content or having to scroll sideways.
• Images have text alternatives, and the key figures are shown as text rather than as a graphic.
• Form fields are labelled and marked for autofill, and required fields are indicated.
• The notice about cookies and external content never covers the emergency number 144 or the element you are currently using.

Content that is not accessible

• Jobs portal: the vacancies on the Jobs page come from the Dualoo portal and are only available in German. We cannot influence their accessibility and have not tested it.
• Security check in the contact form: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. The check usually runs invisibly. If it has to be confirmed, its usability depends on Cloudflare.
• Map: the Google Maps map is not fully accessible. The address and a link to Google Maps are shown next to it as text.
• PDF document: the document on the application process on the Training page is only available in German and is not fully accessible.

Preparation of this statement

We prepared this statement on 3 November 2026. It is based on a self-assessment: an automated check of all pages in all languages and a manual check of keyboard use, zoom, text spacing, contrast and forms. We update the statement whenever the website changes significantly.
